The Employment and Education Manager will generate and develop external relationships in the community, which include employers, job training programs, proven GED and high school diploma programs to broker services that will link youth to jobs, interviews, career development and educational attainment. The candidate should possess the desire to relentlessly pursue excellence while working in a fast paced, cutting edge outcome driven environment.
First Place for Youth is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Development Officer to lead all aspects of fundraising and external relations for this entrepreneurial organization currently undergoing a period of substantial growth and expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Development Officer will design and drive fund development efforts to meet annual operating revenue goals in the range of $5M from a variety of sources including foundations, corporations, individuals, and events. In addition, this position will be responsible for designing and leading any special or capital campaign initiatives aligned with the organization's strategic growth agenda and for directing the communications/external relations initiatives to build awareness and support for the organization and its programs. While working closely with the senior leadership team to define the organization's growth strategy, the Chief Development Officer will ensure that fundraising and communication strategies align with the direction set forth in the strategic plan and guarantee organization-wide financial sustainability while building and managing a strong team of professionals to ensure the tactical implementation of all strategies.
First Place for Youth is seeking a highly accountable outcome driven social service professional to manage My First Place, a supported housing program for transition age foster youth ages 18 to 24. The Regional Manager is a key agent to opening our new program in Los Angeles and expanding First Place for Youth to become a statewide agency. The Regional Manager is responsible for all aspects of program oversight and implementation, including outcome monitoring, retention of youth in housing; policy and procedure oversight; mediation of youth conflicts and staff supervision. This key role will support First Place as the organization continues to be the front-runner in providing safe housing and comprehensive services for emancipated foster care youth. The Regional Manager must be relentless in their pursuit of excellence and enjoy working in an innovative and fast paced environment that values the needs of the youth we serve as their number one priority.

Equally, the specialist will partner with local community colleges, 4-year colleges and vocational schools to promote education and career advancement among our youth population. The Specialist provides targeted educational and employment support to young adults who are preparing to transition out of foster care or who have recently left the foster care system. The specialist must be relentless in their pursuit of excellence and enjoy working in an innovative and fast paced environment.

First Place for Youth is seeking a highly accountable individual that relentlessly strives for excellence to serve as the Managing Director of Programs for our nationally acclaimed organization dedicated to providing housing and comprehensive services to youth transitioning out of foster care in the state of California. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Managing Director will lead, design, and manage the My First Place programs in alignment with our core model and Theory of Change and the highest quality standards First Place aspires to. The Managing Director must have significant program leadership experience, a track record of successfully managing programs and developing staff, strong communication and relationship management skills, and a demonstrated strategic and analytical capacity. The Managing Director will supervise a team of high level program managers in Northern and Southern California and ensure programmatic outcomes are developed, closely monitored, and executed on.
