Watch our Director of Southern California Region, Alex Atkinson, make the case for First Place! In October, Alex competed in the LA Social Venture Partners' "Fast Pitch" event and took home an "audience favorite" award and a grant of $5,000! The LASVP Fast Pitch is a competitive program in which 10 nonprofit finalists have 3 minutes to give a compelling pitch of their work, competing for grant awards in front of a judging panel and live audience.
